I opened the fuel tank drain valve for the first time since I owned the JD 4300. I drained per the instructions, now it will not stop dripping. It is a very slow drip but it is dripping. It is similar to the drain cock on my car. What can I do except to replace it. I have 197 hours on this tractor. Thanks

My trailer hitch receiver is located 16 inches from the rear end of my Ford flatbed truck. In other words, I must extend the receiver 16 inches from under the truck so I can connect my trailer. How far can I extend the receiver and maintain the towing capacity. The towing capacity is 8600 pounds.

That is a very like shed. I think you have been riding the tractor to long. If I am not mistaken that sheep looks like a dog.
I think I will build one of those sheds so my wife can keep her garden supplies in.

Farmer Giles. The company is National trailer Rental. Do a search on "Transport international pool" for a location near you. I tried to find the "800 number. It is my understanding that a lot of these containers come in around the end of the year. I am in North Carolina, the company is located about eight miles from me, they have plenty of all types of containers.

When I connect the mower to the tractor PTO it is not easy to do. I have to turn the mower blade to align the mower pto shaft with the tractor pto before it will attach. Does this make any sense or am I doing something wrong? Thanks

THE FEMALE HYDRAULIC HOSE CONNECTORS FOR THE 3RD SCV ARE UNDER SO MUCH PRESSURE THAT I CANNOT CONNECT THE MALE HOSES FOR MY ATTACHMENT. I HAVE PUSH AND PUSH WITH NO LUCK. I HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO CONNECT THEM TWICE SINCE I GOT THE TRACTOR. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?THANKS IN ADVANCE

MY JOHN DEERE DEALER IS GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR THE REPLACEMENT, REVERSE PEDAL, PARTS THAT HE TOLD ME INITALLY THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE. I HAVE A 4300 WITH ONLY 41 HOURS DUE TO LEG PROBLEMS FROM PUSHING THE REVERSE PEDAL. IS THIS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

I HAVE LOOKED AT THE BEFCO AND OTHER BRANDS OF MOWERS SUCH AS WOODS, ETC. AS FAR AS KEEPING TENSION ON THE BELTS. BEFCO REQUIRES A REAR BOLT ADJUSTMENT VERSUS SPRING LOADING ON THE OTHER BRANDS. WHICH IS BETTER? I AM THINKING OF BUYING A BEFCO, PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE. THANKS

Although I may have the proper insurance to cover my tractor and trailer, I was reminded (1) that I needed the proper truck tag on my vehicle. For the weight of the tractor, trailer, and truck, I needed a commerical tag for the correct load ($107.00). (2) My regular truck insurance (non business) may not cover my truck while pulling my load if I am involved in an accident on my way to cut my brother's grass. This would be consider a job for pay. "Is there an end to this".

I found out today that my homeowner's insurance will cover my tractor if it stays on my property and is less than "20 HP". Please read the fine print on your policy.<br>Two agents gave me two answers, no and a yes. The policy said no, it is over 20 HP.

I think even if the ramp support was at the hinged point, this would still happen. If the ramp support would extend under the rear of the trailer, here I go again, I think this would solve the problem. Thanks to you all

Bob-One thing that I am very happy that I got was a 4-n-1 bucket instead of the regular bucket. It is worth its weight in gold. 4wd is almost a necessity with the loader.

Mike S-Thanks. John Deere 4300 grease fittings. I could only find one grease fitting on the hydro peddals. I found sixteen fittings on the loader arms, four
on the Long 4-n-1 bucket, and three on the tie rods/ball joints. Are there anymore?????? I checked them all for grease.
